Are You referring to this? because I have this and all i get is "There was a NEtwork Error" all of my settings are correct and it used to work when it was free trial, now the mac I am using works on kodi, but getting network error on the emulator. is there another emulator?

No, that's the general emulator. Look at the stickies in the IPTV Private Server areas, the Official emulators are posted there.

Thanks I Found it, will play with it. Do you know if IOS version is coming along, would love to use apple tv with it. thanks

EDIT: BTW this gives me same error " http://11.iptvprivate...... : There was a network error", not sure what I am doing wrong, I just added the mac adress which works on kodi.

I am using the bluestacks here too with emulator pro. 6.11 pro from google I have my mac: settings to 00:1a:79:xx:xx:xx when I set it up to 78 my code is block: the problem it wont load the channels list wont populate nothing happens no channels ..... please help ty... but it connects to the internet its just the channels wont load .....

I download the demo one from google play, 6.14, and i went into settings, and altered the demo, put my mac in the using 78, server address, and it runs fine, been using it more than kodi, now that i got the hang of it, only draw back is i have to use the keyboard and cheesy M8 remote, i did notice on the remote if you press and hold the menu button, you can clear cache

Emulators work fine on generic android boxes. My belief is that the MAG severely limits your options, but is fine for those who don't want to mess with installing and configuring apps. The emulator does work fine on android boxes, but you still need to configure it properly. I think it's an intermediary step, because Kodi gives you the most flexibility beyond running the service, but you will need to overcome a learning curve.

what would cause the stb emulator to freeze up while scrolling up and down through the channels and then reboot ? the channels show up fine ..and the vlc plugin seems to work ..it shows the picture when I press ok...any ideas ? cant seem to figure out what would cause it to freeze and kick me out..I am using a dreamlink T6 box under android apps

For best video picture quality play back what setting should be used in the emulator. Also would one get better picture quality using internal or external player like xmtv. or please recommend one with settings info. Thanks

with internal or vlc with internal plug in you can change channels directly from player.....
so you don't need to go back in menu every time you change channel...

I am using STBemu v 6.0.16 & I got it working with the instructions below:

INSTRUCTIONS TO USE CUSTOM DEVICE ID on STB EMULATOR, Rather than a LONG one that is generated.

1 start STB emulator
2 press Menu button - Settings - Profile
3 Create your appropriate server Profile name (NFPS/ROCKET/IK66)
4 Open that profile and enter the Proper URL of the server in "PORTAL URL" under "PORTAL Settings"
5 Enter your MAC Address (00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX) (Replace XX with your proper number/letter!)
6 Enter a Serial Number (any 13 digits and then select OK to save)
7 select Device ID :
A) Make sure first option "Use MAC-BASED DEVICE ID" is Unchecked
B) Scroll to "DEVICE ID" and enter any set of numbers and letters (I used a 23 character long ID with number and letters, you may be able to use shorter or longer (Not 100% sure!))
C) Make sure "SEND DEVICE ID" is checked

8 press return button on your remote to STB emulator main page
9 press Menu button and exit STB emulator
10 Restart STB emulator and the portal should load all the programming

*If it still gives error, Change your MAC Address to a random address and then Change it back to your real one, then restart STB emulator and it should work.

** If you use another device with same MAC, copy the SAME "mac" & "serial number" & "device id" into the settings of that device and then both will work (one at a time of course)

I guess I was too early to verify that same device ID can be used in STB Emulator and another app (like IPTV STALKER in kodi), but turns out "IT DOES NOT WORK" that way, IF you register the device ID using stb emulator it will only work in stb emulator and vice versa.

Has anyone gotten same settings to work in both STB EMULATOR app & IPTV Stalker on kodi ? (using same credentials i mean, like same MAC & Serial number) ?? Really would love to switch between these two apps on my box, but currently I am only able to get one working (Which ever I activate first using new MAC). ?

Running an M8, with kodi 15.2 stalker pvr 8.3 or 8. 4 , cant remember right now, using stb 6.16, using the mac i originally signed up with, made Up serial # etc, stb and, stalker have the same settings, both work fine, i really dont get changing mac and all, and i am using 78: in the mac address, i used the same instructions for the stb, except i did not change the mac, how ever it took 4 or 5 trys, and what made it work, was i unplugged the box for a few mins.

APUN, awesome information!

I am a new user with a new donation. I entered my 78 number into my STB emulator software on my Chinese Android M8 and the service is working well.

BUT.....

I did not generate any Serial or Device ID's or check the Send DEVICE ID info. I used all defaults on the profile. Yet it still works. If you were me would you let this go since it is working or proceed with adding\changing serial and Device ID and send button check?

My concern is, of course, that it stops working at some point! Thanks much!
