in-order to get the blue bar to disappear,you have to use an external player. it works on the gbox very well using external video player and the blue bar is gone. i use the recommended player,but,it also works using the player that comes already installed on the gbox midnight mx2.

To be honest with you Dara I have never faced this problem on any movie but yes I have it on some of the channels although I though it's due to the streaming process but once again on a very minimal amount of channels which makes it very insignificant to monition even.

Newer version of STBemu now out on Google Play (0.6.03). He added an app button to the RC menu, which will allow individual locking and unlocking of a channel with a passcode. Example, you don't have to re-enter '0000' when you go to an adult channel with that lock next to it.

* Added ability to set maximum simultaneous connections limit to a server.

To make the emulator work with NFPS service you can now set maximum simultaneous connections limit to a portal. Open portal settings->Additional settings, then check "Set maximum simultaneous connections limit". After that you have to either set your own values into fields "Generic requests" (html/css/javascript/images, etc) and "AJAX requests" (they are separated because of emulation features), or leave default values ("5"). For me the default values work good with NFPS, but if the portal still doesn't work correctly, try to decrease values (or at least "Generic requests").
After you made all changes reload your portal from menu.

I updated to the latest pro version via the playstore and it fixed the problem with the test where it would load but you couldn't select anything, only the menu button would work. All works fine now with mx player. What is Andy?

Andy is another android emulator for the PC. I prefer that over Bluestacks as it's closer to the real android experience, but it needs more care and feeding (resources) than Bluestacks.

Dara wonderful job, thank you.

Andy is a trouble maker, I have installed it on my pc and almost it crashed the os for me, I would say stay away from it.
STB-emu is the way to go, it works like a charm, I also see the EPG, no freezes not even a single glitch.
STB-emu works on both for me on a PC and Android system.
