xbmc android tv box question

I have android tv box with beyond xbmc loaded, how to change it to kodi

Which android box do you have?
I'm assuming it's connected to the internet right? If it is, you should be able to just go to the kodi website using the box & download the APK from there (xbmc will still be there for now). After it's done installing, check the new kodi to be sure everything is working. If it is, just uninstall xbmc. This is assuming that the device came preinstalled with an APK installer.

If it's not connected to the internet & the box has a USB port, & you have access to a laptop or computer, you could just download the APK from kodi & put onto a USB stick.

Kodi is an approved app on Google play. If you have the app already on your box (usually is) just search there. Your addons will migrate automatically. That might not be what you want, but your xbmc will remain, just empty.

Dara, I don't have google play, just play store. Do I have to create a new one cause the old one is not mine

"Google Play" is the store! I'm not sure what you mean by "the old one is not mine", however you can add multiple google accounts on your device. In the store, search for Kodi. The version is meant for arm v6 devices though, no x86 or non-neon. If those terms don't mean anything to you, you'll probably be ok.

Dara, I open the play store, the ask me to login but because this is preloaded box I can't login unless I have to create my own password. I don't know if there is kodi app inside.
