I didn't have a favorite coming in, but I'm pulling for Croatia at this point.

From what I saw of this World Cup, it was pretty fantastic

It was good, but all but over early in the second half. Croatia did score a goal late in the second, but it was too little too late. The tough part (for Croatia) was France's 2 early goals were fluky at best.

England captain Harry Kane (Tottenham) won the Golden Boot, finishing as the World Cup's top scorer.

Croatia captain Luka Modric (Real Madrid) won the Golden Ball, being named best player of the World Cup.
