WIFI wont connect anymore

Hey everybody,

I am sure this has been covered but I have been searching for days and cant find an answer so please bare with me. I have a mag254 box that was connected at a friends house via wifi for programming. It worked perfect after the update of firmware and portal address was put it in. I have taken it home and when i go to the wireless setup I see my ssid so I know the usb adapter is good. I have put the wifi password in and set it up just like we did at the first time. I save all the settings and when I go to network status it is "down"

PLease does anyone have any ideas why I cant get it to connect at home?

Remove the password completely in your router so your connection is unlocked and see if the box connects if it does then your having some password issue..I'm lucky i live so far out in the country i never secure my wifi makes it way easier connecting devices

Check security options on mag under security settings.

did you unplug your adaptor and plug it back in??

How far is u router from u box I had the same problem router down stares box up stares to far away had to add another modem router

It is about 5ft away only

Yes i did unpluged it.

Ok then that is not the problem is they a way to check u WiFi adapter on something else
