wi fi use in hotels for mag 254

Oh I see what you're saying. Cant you hit the keyboard button on remote and use it that way?

the issue is we cant find a button on remote from keyboard or anywhere to click OK to the terms and conditions page ..the hotel and stb let us get that far after entering the passkey from hotel up pops the acceptance screen THANK YOU

you would need to press the keyboard button to close the keyboard screen than press ok

Not a Mag254 but I tried at a hotel near Heathrow airport with a MyGica and I could pull up the acceptance page on the browser but no way could I get it to authenticate.

Some authentication pages use a java applet, and some browsers will not give you the option to accept. That's why I use a router and accept the usage conditions with my pc.
