Time setup problems?

Anyone ever have time setup problems with this box? The reason I ask is because with the box I have my time will not stay at the correct time it reverts back to being three or more hours behind and the minutes are not even correct, I realize this is being nitpicky just wondered if someone else had experienced it and if so had a fix for it? Hope all have a great hump day!

so you updated the box dont have that problem me just set it to my time zone and bang

I have noticed with both avovs that if you turn it off and go back to it, the time stopped when it was turned off. Usually corrects after it gets net back though.

Did you notice this after turning it on?

It does that if turned off with the remote, needs the power taken off and on to go back to correct time, me I never turn off.

maybe thats why i never turn the boxes off even all my xbmc one

I turn mine off all the time, part out of habit and part out of not wanting 4 boxes accidentally loading movies up at the same time. I get some overlapping with my remote protocols so some buttons for one receiver does make the others work too

I have a clock that's easier to see in my living room so don't worry about receiver time too much

Yea I noticed this after I had shut it off with remote in two occasions but did not even consider that I have since unplugged the box and tuned it back on and set my time and so far it has kept time correctly for the last hour it so! I figured I should shut it off as well so it wasn't using data while not being used. Thanks for all the help and hope all have a great week!
