The way we do it is we back it up to a usb drive but can't you just browse and find the file you saved your backup to. If you can't then just go ahead and install those repo from scratch, usually I have the main repos on my iphone note.

Guys I installed stalker on a Windows 8 pc with kodi 14.1 from the first day dvbken released it. Worked great up until tonight.. Now I get the dreaded DLL error.
Anyone having issues tonight?

Ok got it working again.
This is what I did. Might help some.

Disabled stalker addon.
Disabled live TV option in system
Shut down kodi
Restart kodi
Enable live tv
Brings you to disabled addons, re-enabled stalker and...
Voilà!

Btw my mac is made up, doesn't match my machines Mac. Don't know why it would have to.

@dvbken, thanks for the update to 0.5!

For those that may be concerned about such stuff, you can lock or hide channels from viewing by bringing up the context menu (right click on a channel if you are using it on a PC install).

I cannot get past a "Stalker Client Startup Failed" message in Kodi.

Running Win8.1
Kodi 14.1
Stalker V0.5

I have tried the trick of disabling Live TV and Stalker, restarting and then enabling Live TV and then Stalker, same results.

I did notice that when I look at the details of the Stalker add-on, it says v0.1? Not sure why, I downloaded the V0.5 from this site today, and this is my first install of Kodi and Stalker.

Anyway, I must be missing something!

And yes, total noob with Kodi/Stalker

My curious mind likes to screw things up. I know stalker has been confirmed working on Kodi 14x and was working for me, but like usual I had to load the new Alpha beta release and lo and behold stalker does not work. Will have to convert back

hi , i wanted to test this while using an HTTP_PROXY .. but this addon seems to ignore xbmc proxy settings .. since it try to open the socket directly ..so keep in mind .. if you have one or if your isp use one ... u may have trouble getting this to work

Currently running newest version of plugin on stock kodi on stock Fire TV.

Seeing 131 channels (have not tested them all but the ones I have work great)

Thank you for the work you are doing developing this. Hands down my favorite plug in. Cant wait for service to go live.

I did not understand the post when I first read it. This is what I did.You need to copy and paste the link to your browser. You will not get the link if your browser is out of date. The link has kodi 14.1 with the stalker already installed on it. That is why they tell you to uninstall your current version of kodi and do a backup first. When you uninstall kodi make sure you use your android file browser and delete the kodi.org file before you install kodi. After installed just load your backup file and all your addons will be their.

Guys will the stalker client work with other IPTV panels. By panel I mean currently I can use NFPS and Rocket server as they are free in testing phase but can I try another private server who is providing IPTV service. I know someone who is selling the service. If it does work then what info I will need to get connected to that server, is it just the server address or something else besides that. Still new to all this and trying to learn how all this works.
