Sportsdevil New File

downloaded the sportsdevil file 3 times and get the dependency not met when trying to install addon.......any other place to download it............

What kodi version did you use.

Kodi ver is what is in Avov tv-online box........15.2

Loaded it to the Fuse, Vixo 2 and TVonline+ so far so good!!

I don't know...........I can install an older ver of Sports devil......but not the last two versions ....................May have to uninstall Kodi and reinstall it ...then add all my addons..including sportsdevil.......hate to spend the time doing it though

Hubbab3 wrote that if it gives you the dependencies not met error to

settins > addons > system > depends > pydevd > uninstall

How can I have always the latest version of Sportsdevil? Here's how!

You can now have sports devil auto update using the community portal I have been using it for a while now and it works great.



Go to SYSTEM and select from the submenu FILE MANAGER
Double click on ADD SOURCE
Enter

http://noobsandnerds.com/portal/

and click DONE
Select NONE and enter NoobsandNerds, click on DONE and then OK
Go to HOME once again and select SYSTEM
Select INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE
Select the red icon label NoobsandNerds
Donwload theCommunity_Portal_Repo.zip
As soon as the repository has been refreshed select INSTALL FROM REPOSITORY
Select Community Portal Addon Repository
Select VIDEO ADDONS
Select Sportsdevil Launcher and hit on INSTALL
Congrats! you have successfully installed the add-on!
Go into HOME, select VIDEO ADDONS
Select Sportsdevil Launcher
If you don’t already have Sportsdevil installed, the launcher will find it for you and install it.
You may have to remove previous Repos or versions of Sportsdevil to avoid creating a conflict between different versions.
Congrats, with Sportsdevil Launcher you can always have the latest version of Sportsdevil with just some clicks!

he's not misleading anyone, it doesn't matter if you update from a local zip or a repo.. dependancies are loaded just the same.. a repo is just a website that hosts the same zip file, it has the same list of dependancies listed in the addon.xml and kodi loads it just the same... as long as the repo he mentioned is being maintaned, then it will autoupdate just fine..

I hope someone can note when it happens and then I will comment, for me this repо is second-hand operation and can not be trusted.
If the creators wanted repo they would do

unfortunately the Sportsdevil creators left the addon so it's now being maintained by Hubba3b and Sattko which are just members of the Kodi community (there are other versions of sportsdevil being maintained by other programmers) but any programmer can edit the addon since it;s an open source. What the owners of some repos are doing in adding Sportsdevil and loading these updates (and in some cases their own versions) to entice people to load their repo. For myself i rather use the people that i know compare to those than i don't, and it's not that they are (all) bad it's just my personal preference.
