It doesn't have to be an HD box but it has to have mpeg4 capabilities....

true, but only thing wrong with that is that there are no SD boxes capable of MPEG4, aside from the SD dreamlink T4 model.
Be interesting to see if the new avov Fuse or other android boxes with DVB-S2 tuner will be MPEG4 capable

So far, mostly just the info channels and the home shopping type channels have been converted to MPEG4, but the rest will follow.
