Putting Kodi on fire stick

Have followed the you tube videos for putting Kodi on Fire stick but must have missed something. I have Kodi on my Fire Stick,when i go down an click on it to put the file on it will not down load. Even putting (firestarter apk) and going to the file i need it will not down load either. What am i missing getting this do down load?

You are not being clear as how you are trying to download and that might help as there are multiple ways of getting Kodi on the Fire Stick.

I have down loaded Es and also have Google.Using Google have type in the Browser Kodi.tv. This will bring up the different Kodi files eg; Kodi 16 Go over where the down load is and click on down load and nothing will happen.That is as far as i have got.Also was wondering if the need to be JB. Have been looking for the ADB Fire as well.

Tech timeruuu on YouTube just did a brilliant video for kodi on a fire stick with no computer. Uses ES file manager. Go give it a look. It's probably the most recent video on the web for this subject.
