Regarding per clients "Pvr IPTV Simple Client" is the one that's selected in my settings and it's only one that will load channels. Have I the right pvr?

Might be time to bite my head off. Lol

What you posted is the iptv channel list "accessing from Potato TV".
What you need to do is on the potatoTV screen there is a "Settings: PVR Simple Client".
Click on that and it loads your info into the PVR Simple Client.
When you restart Kodi, and if the PVR Simple Client is Enabled, It will load the Ch.'s and EPG info and you will get a TV Tab on your Home Screen.
Clicking that and selecting guide will give you what you are looking for.

Also my pvr is loading as when I start up kodi it's first thing it tells me on top left.
So where does the TV Tab appear from do I need to go looking for it .lord god I'm sorry for being a silly sausage over this. ��

the picture is not telling that you're accessing the pvr menu... you're still in video environment instead

since I'm too lazy (hell yeah! a couch potato never leaves the couch) to write a complete walkthru'
I will only suggest you to:

1. find out which kodi version (14-17) and skin (confluence, estuary, etc) you're using
2. visit our best-friend home (google, youtube) to search this:

kodi kodi_version skin_name pvr simple

for example:  kodi 17 confluence pvr simple

Hi everyone
Am I missing something I've downloaded and am running ver 104 r2 but can't seem to access the VOD section through the PVR. They work properly when accessing them through the video add-on but I can't find them anywhere on the PVR.
Is this by design or am I missing something?

Using IPTV Rocket with a MAC and donation, KODI 16.1 on android.

vod is addon only atm hopefully its possible to add the vod to the pvr in the future. Personally I just shortcutted the vod to my movies section in the meantime

yep! I designed it on purpose

I still don't see the point to put the vod in the M3U playlist:

1. VODs are not a LIVE streaming media
playing them with pvr will not offer the FF / RWD option

2. if you're a movie freak and you have a MAC based account
stalker backend will send you some useful metadata for the movies
the pvr doesn't have a feature to show the metadata
yes! the metadata can also be included in the EPG... but it will make the xmltv filesize bigger & longer to load


3. VOD has too many items in its list
including the whole items in the M3U playlist will have a failure risk due to the loading timeout

I've got the same problem. IPTV has never worked. I take that back, only about 95% of the channels DO NOT WORK! But all the VOD's work just fine.
And I've tried just about everything to resolve the issue.

open your o/s filemanager...
then delete all cache files in Kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.potatoTV/

Hey guys, quick question. I have gotten everything to work and happy thus far. The only problem I am running into is the epg time is shifted. I have tried numerous time zone setting this no change. Any advice?

Are you using Kodi 15?

No, K15 had an issue. K17 shouldn't have the same issue.

goto Kodi/userdata/addon_data/pvr.iptvsimple/
then edit the "settings.xml" manually:

id="epgTimeShift" value="time_shift_in_hours"

you also have to check the the local timezone settings in your device/gadget/stb

I finnaly found the solution to sync the channel # with the backend using the the dummy tricks I posted

the new codes with fix has been added the the new version which will be released sooooo...ooon lol
no ETA... I still have to run some more tests until it's burnt

What time zone are you couch potato addon you select what city you are in and it does everything for you
If you are EST you want GMT -4 if CST GMT -5 MST -6 Pac -7

Make sure you go into the system settings and clear live tv data and guide data also make sure you are reseting your device after everything is cleared

If its working on P1 I would assume the addon is able to detect if your p2 p3 p4 or p5

Use p1 since it works your good to go

NFPS does not give me the option to change from p2 server to p1 server for this donation number. I tested the addon with a second donation number that is on p1 and it works perfect.

out of curiousity are you using the new urls also when you click custom make sure you aren't adding the /c to the end of the url that references the stalker portal I believe

For the life of me I have no clue how to get the epg to work I have the channels and vod working but not much use if I have no guide...I have your addon on kodi 16 and have both the mac and donation verification can someone please help me get my guide working BTW this is a fresh inatal of kodi

System > Settings > TV

Disable TV, Clear data under TV channels, Clear data under Guide, Shut down Kodi...for added measure delete the TV*.db and EPG*.db files in the userdata/database folder, Restart Kodi and Enable TV.

You cannot have a playlist with a MAC assigned. It says it right there on the site when you search and it brings up your info. If you want a playlist, you have to change the MAC and then DELETE everything in that field. It will then show 00:00:00:00:00:00 after the change. THEN there will be an option to get a playlist. Select Generic M3U or Generic M3U with options; Highlight that info (http://p1.iptvprivateserver.tv:80/g...xxxx&password=xxxxxxxxxxxx&type=m3u&output=ts) and copy (Control plus C).

Open vlc and do Control N and a network stream box opens. Paste the info in there (Control plus V). Give is a bit and it will populate with the playlist and show the channels.
There are stickys and videos that go further into this. Look at the sticky by Crazed for How To Get A Playlist and also under Announcements there are videos that show options for using the playlist.

Even though the server show p2.iptvprivateserver.tv it should be automatically forward to p1.iptvprivateserver.tv so the latter is what you put into any of the addons.
If you want to change the server number on the website, select Change Portal on the papiao site.

Seems like several people are having issues with p2 today. Obviously server work is ongoing. If using p2.iptvprivateserver.tv doesn't work in custom then opt for one of the other ways to access the server. I realize that's stating the obvious. Good luck.
