Does anyone know why I can't get anything to
work on Perfect Player 1.5.9 I have the epg
but I can't get any channel to work. I am using
Kens EPG is there anything else to use???

If you see an EPG, that means the channel list loaded properly.
When you click a channel, do you mean you get a red circle?
*Indicates not connecting.

Try some open channels.
*(channels that do not come from the Providers servers).
Al Jazeera / CBS News / The Weather Channel / Bloomberg / WGN News ...etc.
They are somewhere around channel #'s 120 - 150.

If those work, then it is not your equipment but either the Server problem or account requires an IPTV Reset

get is All channels and no EPG, I did an IPTV reset
but I still don't get the EPG-----HELP

I am one step closer! I now have the groups of channels
and they all work, I just need to get the EPG to work???

I just uninstalled my Perfect Player to start all over.
I downloaded PP 1.5.9.1 and I get all the channels
and they are working--but I have no groups no EPG
What the hell could the problem be??????

I have kens epg and acidjesuz epg and they are both loading fine in perfect player. Are you using the correct xml file?

and the providers epg in epg 3

This was a fresh set up with perfect player using the T3. I only needed the correct url and correct epg url, nothing else changed.

I have the provider guide in epg 3 but you shouldn't need it with kens and acidjesus guide

*Note: By default PP Hides the EPG data. To see the EPG. if using a mouse, at the top of the left of screen Channel list, and on the right side of the Genre (All Channels, Entertainment etc) click the small square icon (submenu). Click EPG Show EPG.
If using a remote, with channel list showing, press and hold OK until the submenu appears, then select Show EPG.
To have groups show as folders(when you click right), you enable this mode in the GUI settings.

If none of this works, 1st thing i would do is check your Android Date&Time settings.
Occasionally this will F*** up, and if your date is not correct, ie; set to 2017, you are not going to see guide data for 2020!

*And just to make sure, you are setting your playlist format to XC and not m3u?
(separates VOD items from TV)

I didn't touch anything else, that's it.
I have all channels, not groups and no EPG what am I doing
wrong, an I supposed to check any boxes or anything???

With channel list visible, press Menu on remote(icon with lines), and submenu will appear.
Click EPG - Show EPG

In Settings/GUI - Enable "Show channel groups as folders"
In Settings/General/Playlist 1 - enable XC (instead of m3u)

Shooty, I see you are working on both of my problems KODI 18.8 and PP 1.5.9.1
this shit is driving me nuts, I got both not working.
I got the show EPG
I checked the date and time it's OK
in the GUI I changed the to show channel groups as folders
I changed the playlist from from mu3u to XC
I got the same thing no groups, I can go through them one at
at time and no EPG. What the hell am I doing wrong????

I just did a factory reset on my box erased everything.
I downloaded the PP 1.5.9.1
I am not going to do anything until somebody tells me exactly
what needs to be done to get it working right.

i posted this a long time ago it may work for you.

step 1..delete All data in the pp.app you have installed now on the pp.app
then,unintall the pp..app you have installed on your box(this way your starting clean)

step two 2 ..he uses rocket.so he went to the papiao site and put the playlist on
generic m3u with options...then he took a picture of the url that is just under
were it said's generic m3u with options...

step 3 get (a fresh copy)and install it

Step 4 open pp player then settings then under general and under playlist one (ONLY) input the url
there, word for word.hit ok leave the EPG blank then back out and every thing should load,bring up the content box
click on show epg..then you could try entering ken's epg in the number2 spot.


edit also make sure to have it on XC when you input your info on perfect player

EPG 482--but no EPG WHAT NEXT????????

sorry djmcshain i don't have any answers for you i don't use any services any more.
can i ask you why perfect players is the only one you want to use.You use kodi why not use shooty addon with kodi or even the
Kokaleka TV from the site here instead of P.P

I have the groups and I click on show EPG
but that is the only thing missing?????????
