That is some good irony.

Hopefully they use some of the ad revenue to continue to improve the service... or get rid of them altogether which frankly is the preferable option. You're outing us to Google with these ad's.

Live links are a completely different story concerning what a live link can do.

The ad is a link, it sends referral info when clicked, and because they're google ad's Google tracks all of us with unique identifiers. Even if we don't click on the ad's, their mere presence here allows google to track us and identify us as users of this service.

It ain't the end of the world, but it lacks foresight and frankly has the potential to put end users at risk over the long term.

Do you have a smart Tv or a smart phone ?
Do you walk on any city street?
Do you have an xBox or Skype or any microsoft service ?
Do you use a cell phone ?
Do you run windows 10?
Do you use a direction service in your car?
Do you use GPS ?

The list goes on and on and on ....

All good, and if I'm honest I don't personally worry about it much as Canada has been ripping off American tv for decades, essentially unopposed. It was just one of those things that made me say hmmmmm. Lol

I had one of those e85 Dishes with 5 lnb's on it aimed at charlie and bev. Those were the days!

Still have the dish but never set it up after my last move.
