Thank you team got the switch in the mail today and it's just what i was looking for to set up in my sons basement entertainment system.

that's a nice switch, I have same one.
It will switch automatically to the device powered up. You'll find if a device reboots on it's own, the Switch will switch to next powered up device automatically. After that original device does finish booting up thou, the switch will automatically switch back to it.

If switch doesn't start, or light up a port, because all devices are powered up maybe, then just use the remote and hit the port 1 , that'll get it going. Then change to needed port, if not there already.
I thought that the switch was doing weird things till I figured out how it works in it's automatic mode. That mode can't be disabled, according to manufacture. But works good in that mode soon as you see how it works
