bring up the side bar menu when on LiveTV and there is also a Check Updates shortcut there too.

Yes....side bar menu when on LiveTV "check updates" has been there a long time...but the app in the "APPS" section is new

hope the new update addresses the favorites issue,,, strange that I even reset box to factory, removed all favs and uninstalled updates back to 1.6 and still have favorites issue

got this update yesterday BuzzTV2 (218) never noticed before but in APPS there is a new app next to the Buzztv2 app...called Buzz Update

There is? It's not on mine. I only have the sidebar update option

You will be very pleased with the stability of the update..... It is smooth and addresses alot of issues.
