new to kodi

trying to learn all about kodi but I am finding out how dumb i am.
my question is how do I retrieve a lost movie? when I watched a movie
and it ends, it goes into a black hole and I can't fined it anywhere.
if I put a movie in favorites it also goes into the black hole, if I put a movie
in the Library it stays, so good I have not figured out how to get rid of it
ok so now I no how to save a movie to watch again but how do I find the
ones I have lost?
I am running a fire stick with kodi 15.1
I got the fire stick with kodi all ready installed and don't want to do a factory
reset because I am afraid I will lose kodi

found the solution, when you are in the movie section, hit the left arrow and a menu pops up and
half way down it says " hide watched movies" unclick it and movies return from the black hole
