Network Storage

Hello,

Does anyone know if the T1 Plus can have external storage in the form of network storage? And if so, how to set it up?
I have a NAS I'd like to record to directly rather than use a local USB.

Hi, thanks for your reply - yes I've also tried USB flash drive and that works fine for me - I was asking about mounting a network drive as the external storage instead, so as to not need to use USB storage.

I haven't tested the record, but it does connect to the network for DNLA. I'll see if it will record to my share on my NAS for you if the record function is active.

I have an NAS attached to my network. When I press the record button I only have a choice for the directly attached device. I think this is a function of DOL. From the Android OS you may be able to use the NAS but not for recording live.

I can't get it to see my NAS either.

If you use a cloud storage device this would possibly work..what file format does the dreamlink save it's pvr files in

Thanks for trying, dara. Hopefully DOL can add this as a feature in a future release, along with scheduled recording.
