Kevin Harvick won the 26th pole of his NASCAR Cup Series career Friday and will start up front for Sunday's Pennzoil 400.

Harvick beat out Denny Hamlin (second), Kyle Busch (third) and Austin Dillon (fourth) on an odd day of qualifying.

The qualifying session was unique in that drivers were allowed to draft off competitors, which helped some of them record faster lap times.

Kevin Harvick, who won last week in Atlanta, will join Blaney on the front row as Kurt Busch, Martin Truex Jr., and Kyle Larson round out the top 5. Truex won last year's race in Las Vegas.

I wish

D'oh!

I got the right line up now. Sorry about any confusion, but thanks for the help dish.

they are racing at Vegas XFinity series !
Christopher Bell and Reddick are trying to get by Kyle B
Its a race for sure with 10 laps to go and a caution.
Bell and Reddick seem to have faster cars then Kyle but that don't mean nothing if they can't get by Kyle and stay ahead without rubbing that WALL !!!

Kyle B won last night in the truck race.
He is looking to get a win here and then go into tomorrow with a possible sweep of the weekend at his hometown Vegas !

Green flag scheduled for 3:46p Eastern.

LAST TIME: Brad Keselowski won the playoff opener at Las Vegas last September. Kyle Larson was second. Martin Truex Jr. placed third. Kevin Harvick won this race a year ago. Kyle Busch was second. Larson placed third.
