Another chance for a DIECAST. You do have to have entered previously, and previous winners are not eligible for this prize. I will have an adjustment to the overall rules for late entries... They will be accepted until mid 1st stage, however not eligible for the diecast, and no bonus points for the 1st stage, and will have 1/2 points for the lowest entry. Earliest entry of the highest score will get the prize, except for previous winners.

Tropical Storm Gordon

Remnants of tropical storm Gordon are likely to lead to a messy weekend at the track this weekend. Flash flooding possible Saturday through Sunday.

NASCAR's entire Saturday schedule at Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been rained out.
NASCAR cancelled Saturday's practice and qualifying sessions as well as the Xfinity Series race, which will now be run Monday at 10 a.m.
NASCAR has also moved the start time of Sunday's Big Machine Vodka 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup race up one hour, to 1 p.m. ET.

Sunday's forecast looks slightly better, but rain could still be an issue. Weather.com calls for the rain to begin letting up early Sunday morning, with the chance of rain diminishing to about 40 percent by the scheduled race time, and remaining at 20-25 percent through 11 p.m. ET.
