He dropped back to 7th or 8th at the time of caution

At that site, look for the tab labeled as NEWS.
Open that and should find the link to view the car schemes.

These guys will sometimes use a car that had previously won at any given track. Of course it would have a new engine and other running gear, but chassis might be same.
The paint schemes are a per-ordained thing , sponsers are a big part of nascar.
One time it was the car manufactures that helped sponser the sport, then came spnsers like Motor Oils and things.. then came the first sponser that was not automobile related and that changed everything..That was Winston cigarettes, I think...
It was a cigarette company, maybe not Winston thou.

Obviously tobacco companies are no longer involved but they did a big part.
That Pedigree Dog Food car scheme Kyle B is or was driving today has been one of Kyle's main sponsers since his rookie year, but we only see the car scheme a few times yearly.
