Missing KODI app on vixo2

I uninstalled Kodi today and then installed Kodi again. In was on the app list for me, but very low on the list past a lot of games.

I checked back today and still nothing just the tvaddon app i rebooted box twice and still nothing.

Looks like Mickyhop took it down for the weekend because they are testing the new 15.0 stable Kodi. I have been told it will be updated tonight. So anyone who has it missing should see it by tonight or tomorrow morning. Sorry for freaking some of you out haha.

My Kodi is working as I type. It asks for the newer version but I just cancel but it does go into kodi.

If you already have Kodi it shouldn't be a problem. This only seems to be an issue for brand new boxes which haven't installed Kodi yet. I would assume if you delete it and restart your device it would also disappear.

I just got my new Vixo2 and everything i read on id my understanding is it should come with Kodi installer from the channel store
I am not able to find the Kodi in the channel store , all i can find is the TV ADDONS
Is there a way I can get the KODI installed on my new Vixo2

Thank you for contacting us we appreciate the concern. There has been some maintenance work done on the Kodi application. I am not sure if it has been completed yet as I have not been able to test, but you should see it back up soon. Mickyhop has taken down the version as they are upgrading it to the stable 15.0 release. Until then you will have to wait but it should be back up soon. I suggest checking back again today to see if it has been added. If it is not up by tonight I will be investigating the issue afterwords, let me know if you see it. Thanks for your time.

Just loaded TV addons to my Vixo2 looks like the kodi app is back on with phoenix and all the goodies
Not sure how to tall what version of Kodi is loaded

on the first Kodi splash screen that appears, it will say the version but it disappears quick. You can see the Kodi version code name but hard to catch the version number.
On that Splash screen, look for the word Isengard or Helix
If Isengard then it would be version 15.0
If Helix then it would be version 14.2

Found the version in System then click on System info the version is at the bottom of that page

Yeah so it looks like it didn't get updated. I did some investigation and found out why. Looks like Mickyhop and Avov Engineers have something really really big in development. They have gone tunnel vision on the task because we are looking at a release for sometime next week. I got some juicy details on it and it is looking to be really good. There is a queue for these tasks and Kodi is next in line. You guys are gonna have to hold out for a bit longer I'm sorry.

Yeah I know I'm really pushing for the update but they won't listen. Unfortunately it only really looks like it will get fixed next week.

no worries thanks for the update Dave. Last night i was able to load TVADDONS and this time i got Kodi 14.2 So i can wait momma has phoenix now so she is happy.As we all know a happy wife makes for a happy life LMAO
