mag254 vs avov tvonline 4

I had been using the mag254 for about a year and decided to go with avov. I just switched back to the mag254 today. To my surprise the vod is working on the mag254. I tried everything to get it to work on the avov but to no avail. I use the same portal for both. My conclusion is that the problem is with the avov box. Until avov fixes the problem I will stay with the mag254. Too bad I thought the avov was the future but I guess they aren't quite there yet. Also I use a slingbox. The remote code for the avov doesn't work but the code for the mag254 works great. Hopefully avov will take care of these problems

From what i read, his was working with live tv but not vod. That is also what other user are complain about on this forum. I myself am on a mag254 and for close to a month the vod has not been working on Rocket server 22 but then suddenly it started working again a few days ago. So it could also be the servers that are not working correct

Yes I did have avov up and running. The problem is that no vod and the remote code for slingbox didn't work right. I am on 11 for both boxes but can't get vod to work on avov. I will wait for awhile before I switch back to avov. In meantime the mag254 is working great.

my tvonline 4k box is working on vod and tvonline with np just nova not working yet and i wont compare the two boxes cant 4k kills it

What server are you using your AVOV on to get VOD working? I have tried rocket11 and rocket22. Neither works, but at least rocket11 populates the videos. Rocket22 will not even populate the video list. My Mag still works on rocket11.

If I could mix the best of AVOV with the best of Mag254 it would be great. A Mag with an ap store...ie Kodi or an AVOV that didnt freeze on a tv channel once or twice an hour would be great.

I love the avov but i have switched back to MAG because of the no channel info EPG while channeling.. I like the fact that the MAG lets you know whats showing when changing channels

what are you talking about it has guild and epg i could say so much but the box makers that are here do the job for iptv what makes one better then the other to me is kodi and apps i can use to make the box the way i want mag and dreamlink and avov all do what they say it runs iptv very well its not there fault if server is bad sometimes each box to me works great up to you if you want the extras but for iptv they all work
