on power up, message, stb is damaged.
i did a factory reset, then loaded the latest firmware successfully and working fine, but no red infomir screen on power up. only a blue screen. image is 218, am using RCA cable as my tv has no HDMI port, but has a component port. before the factory reset i did see the infomir logo. how can i get the red logo back up? thanks

This happens when you erase user data on your unit you cannot get the informir logo unless you know how to use lunix based commands.

At last I restored the red infomir logo back.
I loaded the logo file and update_logo.sh file to flash drive. connected flash drive to stb.
used putty to communicate with stb, and loaded the files and finally reboot.
i have no knowledge on linux based commands, but did a lot of reading.
if anybody restores mag to factoy settings, then red logo will disappear.

First u need to load the public image which has ssh open. U have to load public image using Mcast. Public image is available from infomir website. Or,

Send an email to tech support infomir, and they will help u out. I followed their instructions to get logo back

a box factory reset will give all back look in mag section

You can post it in the download section if its a file. If its a text fix then you can post it here.

- Change current URL for updating to hxxp://mag.infomir.com.ua/r2/imageupdate_logo
- Press "OK" and update STB

it gives me error "invalid header"...probably because already updated box to 218.r10 firmaware that is not yet loaded at that address....i will wait Infomir post r10 at the address and retry....
