Mag 254 was working fine, now consistent buffering

Am new to the forum, but I subscribe to a monthly service using a mag254. Everything has worked well for weeks, then I upped my cable internet speed to 300mb, replaced modem with a netgear c6300 to maintain speed, and have been having issues with most channels. I have tried changing buffering seconds. Am just about to try manual ip and using google DNS. Using hard wired connection, wireless is a little better......any other ideas?

discussion of other providers is a no no here.. i'd edit if i were u.. r u showing dns issues?

not that I am aware of, have changed dns to 8.8.8.8

Most likely its not your box could be the service or your cable provider throttling the connection based on my research I could be wrong.
