MAG 254 Recording or Downloading Non-Live Content to usb stick

Hello.

I'm sure this has been asked somewhere but I just can't seem to find the answer.

I am trying to download played content from the EPG on the MAG 254 channel list by pressing the download button but it says file error or missing. It starts to download but 2 seconds and I get the error message.

I'm also trying to set it up to record future episodes and the red dot shows on the EPG but nothing happens.

Is it even possible to download to the usb stick?

No it doesn't work, the service provider has not set up the recording apps. on MAG254. NFPS or other IKS services has the option to set up the recording feature. But you can go to the video mode of MAG254 (inner portal) and change the video output from HD mode to SD and then use the A/V cables(YELLOW, RED, WHITE) connectors to record or download as you wish. SD mode of video S.B. compatible.
