Hello how can i get to shut off and keep the box off? At the end of the day when going to bed i shut off tv and then box place controllers away then when i get up for work i put the tv on manualy and the box is on its screen saver is on. Is there something wrong or is that how the box works?

The box should turn off from the remote you can tell its off from the blue led on the front it will go from bright blue to a dull blue look.

I just unplug mine at the end of the day and the next time I use it, I plug it back in. At least this way, I always boot into the portal in case of any changes happens.

I did this on mine. In main screen go to settings, scroll down to inner portal,ok> go to settings,ok>scroll to interface,ok>you will now see HDMI event reaction, disable this and ok to save..

Mines on a power bar...when done watching tv for the night the power bar gets shut off. I don't pay for "ghost hydro"
