mac address question also rocket or nfps

I entered my Ethernet mac for my minix neo x8h+ into mac checker and got invalid mac. can we use Ethernet mac or am I a total noob? also does geography play a role in which service to acquire. I'm in usa near west coast do people have opinions on which service. sry if this is misplaced thread. didn't see a clear choice. thank in advance for any help!

you're using stalker emu so the first three octets must be 00:1A:78....then the last three from your boxes mac

thx so even in mac checker we use only the last 6?
