  • I see people with this MAC issue often.
    The thing is that the service wants the MAC of the IPTV application that the device is using to connect to the service and not the actual device's MAC
    The IPTV application would be the DOL or MOL application and it's MAC will always starts with 00:1a:79
    If you noticed that the device's MAC and the IPTV MAC (DOL or MOL) have the same last 6 digits, but the first 6 are different. The first six is what tells the server to recognize the MAC. It will not recognize the device's MAC since it does not begin with 00:1a:79 ... nor does the device itself connect to the service, the DOL or MOL does.

I am trying to setup my Formuler Z8 with a new donation and am getting a Code 7 when I try to login.
I put in the full IPTV portal url and the 13 digit username and password on both the username and password lines.
When I try to login I get a code 7 blocked or expired.
What am I doing wrong?

I got it working. I went to change my mac address form 00:1E:88 to 00:1A:79 and didn't click the reset IPTV button.
When I went back and hit the reset IPTV button it popped right in and is working fine now.

This MAC ID does offer some confusion. I have mentioned the correct MAC to use multiple times in other threads and or tutorials.

I see I have missed posting it in here, this Formuler forum ,, sorry about that :eek:
I fixed that thou and will work on getting some kind of sticky thread for that alone.
In meantime I edited the old tutorial to add the information.
