IPTV reset

I did reset on my mag 254 it is not taking portal name and portal URL did reboot few times still the same. Thanks in advance for your kind help.

unplug your mag 254 before you do iptv reset are it will not work

Went to the rocket server and input my mac address. It said I'm good to go. Yeah right! I'm still getting an "error" on the authentication. I'm typing in the rocket # for both lines. Can someone tell me if this is right or wrong?

The donation number is both your username and password.

Thanks ilan. Still no authentication except for the red "error". Gets rather frustrating that no one has an answer.

do you mean that you are unable to type in the portal name ?
Or the portal server addy ?

What happens when you try and type it in ?

Are you using the KB button ?
Are you using the gear button to enter the menus ?
And once done typing it, are you trying multiple buttons to exit ? I know these mags can be slow in response, but hitting the buttons more then needed will mess up the function and seems it will not fix itself untill you exit without saving or reboot.
when are you attempting to enter the donation info ? Before you get the server entered ?

Try exiting that server authentication first, then get the server info entered, then continue with authentication credentials.

Day-3...same issue as the above to no avail. At least i'm not alone....will not accept the un/pw......and i know it's the correct info.
Any other suggestions on what to do next will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have or use a Mag, but I'll speculate: Isn't the portal name supposed to be something simple like Rocket whereas the Portal URL is 11.iptvrocket.tv, if that is your correct portal assignment?

Maybe the box isn't able to recognize the periods (.) in the portal name and/or you're not setting up the portal address correctly. You didn't mention what you're specifying as the portal address.
