interested in getting a firestick

im very interested in getting a firestick.. i currently have a mag 254, Avov tv online and Avov vixo2 .... how was wondering how does the firestick compare to those? also wondering does it get the same channels as those..? if this checks out to be similiar or just alike then im going to order me a firestick tonight...

If you set it with the service here you will get the same channels. For the price you can't go wrong but i would say do some reading on how to set it up before because it's not as easy as a mag or avov box.

you can have channels & kodi on stick i havent found a way to put kodi on my 254 mag

With a Mag 254 properly set up the is no need for Kodi. It's not possible to install Kodi on Mag 254.

ok.. my mag just got like 30 added ppv channels i wouldnt need kodi for that.. i have kodi on my Avov's.. i ordered a firestick.. should be here in a few days.. gotta learn the process

anything dual core sucks for iptv the mx2 i have is so slowwwww and the video quality sucks compared to my pc...any new box has to have a quad core + i use it as a door stop

Well for price it is not bad and it will play movies and other stuff gust fine. I have 1080p movies @>15 Mbit over wireless and the Fire Stick has no issues. Now the interface is a bit slow and if you can live with that you should be fine. I have both Fire TV and Stick and the TV is much faster on the interface but then it has more ram and is a quad core.

Both Mag254 and Avov TV-Online boxes are Dual Core and work good

yeah, someone doesnt know what they are talking about... I have a mag, fire TV, fire TV stick, MXC, M8.. yes some with more preocessor/ram have a mildly snappier experience in the GUI (so far from noticable i almost dont want to mention it). but they can all handle the stalker plugins jsut fine, video streams are not a processor/ram intensive process.

At the end of the day, the fire TV stick works great for iptv stalker as well as genesis, really the only 2 plugins i use. If all you need is a device with HDMI output then the fire tv stick is really all you need.. I will add I only run the English EPG grab and kodi in the menu idle has about 150 megs of ram free.. the full grab may eat a bit more ram but not by much..

If you are in Canada though and are stuck buying your fire TV sticks on fleabay, i would suggest the M8, it has double the specs and after price with shipping they are about the same.. ( a fire tv stick costs about 65 CDN after shipping on ebay)

Well if they don't know how to use some thing, some people just prefer to say it's no good. If you look how many likes the fire stick to how many say no good...the odds speaks for them self

well dual core are ok but still like my quad for running 3d and1080p but they work fine the biggest problem is the internet speed for me in farm area cant run the high rez

I think internet is more the problem cause my dual core box runs every thing my quad can with no problems
