Can you please tell me why take so long to do a software update you think that can be a problem with my connection I’ve been having problems with my box a mag 254 during the morning works great then in the afternoon starts buffering in freezing now i try a update manually and is taking a long time a long time than usual

I've been having the same problem. There is one channel I watch, WeatherNation, that does not seem to be affected. Sure hope it gets back to normal soon.

If you watch certain channels like London Live, CBS News and the Weather Channel, you won't see the buffering problems because those links don't originate at the servers. They are just passed through from the original source. That is why they are working.
