HELP with MAC address

Hi, I bought a MAG 254 from a friend, I have already a donation but when I try to activate the MAG with my donation I got the message that this MAC already exist. As far as I know my friend never renew his donation, that is the reason he sold me the box. I can't change the MAC address in the box, what can I do to activate my donation? Any help will be appreciate it. Thank you

tell him to erase the mac and submit so you can link it to yours

How EXACTLY do you ERASE a mac? Ive similar problem. I Changed the mac address on a donation i amusing then tried to change back to original Mac for my MAG instead of one i was using for android and now constantly getting Mac already in use???

you go in your account and set it to 000000000000

Done that didnt work. Blanked out all the spaces and that just said assigned new Mac. On assigning my MAGS mac same error *mac is being used ???

I dont want to reset the account i want to reset the MAC from being told its currently in use. Ive tried a couple of other Donation numbers and get same reply so resetting an account wont fix this.

If you are getting already in use then that mac is linked to a old or another donation.

No its not. Somehow the system is still registering it as being used when it is not. The donation i assigned my mag box to is now running a different mac address perfect. But the Mag boxes unique mac address WILL NOT register on any other donation or that donation making the box useless unless i subscribe elsewhere.
