The long and short both work. The short just redirects to the long, so whichever worked for you before should be working for you now. You need to clear and reload the guide as I mentioned in the first post on the prior page.

**Update** Finally got this working by switching from the long URL (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/psyc0n/epgninja/master/guide.xml) to the short URL (http://nfps.epg.ninja).

I'm also getting the 'unable to load guide' error. The guide does work though, as show by ilan's screenshots. I also copied the guide directly from the long URL and loaded it locally just fine. I just can't get it working via remote URL. Below is what I've tried so far, if anyone else has any other suggestions I'm all ears.

Setup: Running Stalker Client in Kodi 16.1 on a rooted FireTV
Troubleshooting:
  • Triple-checked setup, including spelling of long URL
  • Tried short URL
  • Tried all four preferences (XMLTV Only, Provider Only, Prefer XMLTV, Prefer Provider)
  • Tried without 'Cache Guide Data' selected
  • Tried changing Cache Time to 12, 24, and 72
  • Changed MAC
  • Reset IPTV
  • Released/Renewed IP from ISP via router
  • Tried while connected to a different ISP

I'll try re-installing Kodi next.

Can we all stop going around in circles. The guide is not loading!! Where is this Phycon guy at He seems to be the guru for the guide. Need answers from him. Not the same ones that solve nothing.

The guide is not loading for YOU! The suggestions I offered helped many, many people, but I'll refrain from offering you any useless suggestions from now on. Psycon will not be able to say much more than the guide is working. Do some reading....

I done all the reading I have too. Your not much help anyway always saying the same thing. However there must be some ESP or something, but without any reading or change in setups, suddenly the guide is working for now. I will sure to let you know when it goes done again.

You do provide good answers when there is changes are needed to the stalker setup or url, etc, but when nothing is changed we then need your help in looking into other possible solutions.

When people are posting: EPG down again, EPG not working?? , cannot load guide, we are not all dreaming and we know our setups are good and how to reset guide, channel data. When we post: The guide is NOT WORKING, it's not working. When you do resetting guide fifteen times and there still is no guide then something else is wrong .

Since you seem to never have problems with the guide and are always up hours or days before some of us, If you want to be useful, share your setup with us. Tell us your hardware, stalker used and setups, Kodi guide setup, etc. Just saying it works and always sending us to the newbe stalker and guide setups is not an answer.

I think also thing this forum section should be spilt into newbe section and experienced guide users with issues section so there won't be confusion on what is being posted and why. I shall make that suggest to forum designers

1. What you are saying is when you indicate, "The guide is not working," I should agree with you, even though I know the guide is working. No, I can't do that. If it is working, I indicate it is working, so others will not be misinformed. I then offer steps to kick things into gear. For just about everyone, the advice works.

2. You indicate I often repeat the same steps when people are having problems. That's because the steps work. For the most part, the guide can only be set-up one way. There is no secret set of directions. I can't change things up for the heck of it, since that wouldn't serve a purpose.

As I indicated, when you have issues, I will let others offer you assistance. However, when you indicate the guide is not working when it is, I will make a comment, so others are not needlessly distracted. I'll leave it there.
