here are some pics of my Piper Cub j-3
It is still a work in progress. The motor was stiff when i got it so I had to loosen it up, some of the filament was coming lose so i had to re fasten it. Lots to do on her because it hasn't flown for 20+ years. needs a good cleaning also.

Yes I Know the wing span is not exactly the same mine was a old kit about the 1970 The new kits are slightly smaller by 2 in wing span
Also the scale on this is the print size scale not the plane scale.

Hope this is OK, while posting in this thread I noticed 12icer's #118 post and wanted to get a better look at the Paint, so I went looking :

NICE Paint Job...!!!

It's called "Memorial Day" L-4 Grasshopper because it was used for :

* Observation Plane
* Ambulance Aircraft
* Small field extractions...!!!

Man that is a great kit !!!! That was a fantastic game Farmer1.

It was a wonderful trip through the world of model aircraft, It has been a long time since I crashed up a few sticks HEHEHEHEH.
