Any way to speed up things ?

Hi, i'm living here on this nice Caribbean Island called Sint Maarten ..... were internet sucks ;-) .
I was wondering if there is any way to speed up the loading of the channels and the guide.
All 700+ channels loading takes a lot of time , and i only use about 40-50 channels, wud be nice if there is a way to load it faster.

sint maarden, lucky guy. Same situation for me, i'm in new caledonia...

You must have minimum 7/8 maps for it working. It's what i have, and it works ok.
