Android IPTV STB Emulator

xmtv also works as an external player. You may want to try that out if the mx player doesn't work well for you.

well,i just downloaded xmtv on my gbox and it works perfect for the vod channels, but,i keep receiving message on the live tv channel.cannot play this file make sure the server is connected and running

I get the same message from time to time even on my android box using the emulation. It could be the server.

Current testing with the PC/STB Emulation is not currently good with live channels, using either Andy/Bluestacks, and MX Player/xmtv, since the addition of new channels.

Make sure you have selected 'external player' for Mediaplayer from the three dot menu to the right of the RC menu, and restart both android and stb emulators. You have to click to the right of the RC to see the three dot menu.

For the Live Channels, my best combination for the STB Emulator on my Windows 8.1 is using BlueStacks with the xmtv video player. For some reason, mx player can't hold a connection on BlueStacks or Andy, and with Andy, the audio sync is way off using xmtv (bearable in BlueStacks). Audio sync is fine for the VOD channels for either Android emulator or video player. Also on Andy, the "Play in preview only by OK" doesn't seem to work in the latest version of the STB Emulator, but does fine with BlueStacks.

Hi how you all doing have MX box install emulation software but when open video upside down can someone help me please.

THANK
While the screen is upside down navigate with a mouse to the bottom left corner and click your mouse till you see an option to choose external player choose that option and reboot emulator and you should then see the screen right side up...hope this helps

For those who are getting "Link can not be played" for live channels, the issue may be in the settings of MX Player, as the emulator may not access H/W decoding for PCs for the video player. In settings for MX, go to Decoder and check the S/W decoder on for network (Local if you play videos from your own library).

Hi again now i am having this problem coming up saying authentication problem and cant get CH can you help please i am new to this system.

Thank

Give me an idea of what you have done since getting the screen right side up and I can maybe talk you through the next stages....

that is odd. I am running the stb emulator on my computer and for the last 2 days it says this video cannot be played. I am using mx player.....i tried changing the setting that were suggested earlier (s/w network) but it did not work. I am wondering if everyone is using mx player or are you using any other players.

secondly is the system up and running for everyone. I am wondering if i am getting that message because they are updating something or working out any bugs?
