Pretty hard to stop the Oilers from scoring when they are on a power play.
But Vancouver gave them just that chance at only a couple minutes into game 1
AND... Edmonton Oilers did indeed score.

the Oilers had a 4 -1 lead about mid point in the game. Now with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd period Vancouver takes the lead with 4 unanswered goals
5-4 for Vancouver.

well, the Edmonton Oilers pulled their goalie and then set out to absolutely pepper the Vancouver goalie, but to no avail.

Edmonton won game 2 in Vancouver. That game went into overtime.
Going into Sunday night's game 3 in Edmonton, the series is tied at 1 - 1

First period action finds Edmonton down 3-1
That freaking Vancouver player got a hat trick in the 1st period !
What's his name I don't know but a freaking 'natural' hat trick and all in the first freaking period !

Damn, seems there may be cussing involved tonight watching this game :eek:

UPDATE: The first goal by Vancouver has had a review and seems it was tipped in by another Vancouver player, so no hat trick for what's his name :eek:

Vancouver again giving Edmonton the man advantage in the early going of Game 4
And yes, they scored, as per usual on their powerplay. A one timer from Leon Draisaitl
Leon is the top goal scorer in these here playoffs with 8 goals now.

Vancouver pulls their goalie and they scored, pushing the game into overtime... But just wait a second!
With 38 seconds to go in regulation time, Edmonton scores to make it 3 - 2

Vancouver Canucks score !!
3 - 2 for Vancouver with 32 seconds remaining in the game.

The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Vancouver Canucks in Game 6 with a final score of 5-1, tying the series 3-3. The teams will now face off in a deciding Game 7 on Monday in Vancouver.
Edmonton was on their game tonight McDavid finally showed up.

Game 7
Edmonton win Series and advances to third round.
Vancouver goes fishing.

Third Round - Game 1
We have a tie game after 3 periods.
Into Overtime.

McDavid gets a double minor penalty just seconds into OT :eek:
Edmonton short handed for the first 4 minutes of overtime period 1.

Just a minute or so into the second overtime period, Edmonton's team captain, McDavid, put the puck in the back of the Dallas net to win Game One.



Saturday night in Dallas
Dallas takes Game 2 to tie up the Series @ 1-1

Game 3 in Edmonton
Just 10 minutes into the 1st period and the Edmonton Oilers leads 2-0
We had that lead in the last game too but ended up loosing the game.
