BuzzTv XRS 4000 - Device not authorized

I also got the invalid message but on the XR, tried a few times still did get past it, what worked for me was similar to BCWBOBs,, when I got through to Invalid message again I let it sit for about 20 min then rebooted by pulling the power wire Out then in
(10 sec) on reboot it went to Home page and started reg D/L, You have already tried a number of ways so one more should go easy,

did you put the box in standby - do not choose shut down. You may have to press the power button 2x

i did put in standy by, light is red. after 13 mins, pressed power, came up with timezone and so on, at the end, same result.

You may want to connect to different network and see if that works. Try to connect with neighbors or some other location.

I got my buzz xr 4000 today. Tried everything but could not go past device not authorized. Then I tried below procedure which is closer to posted by NBS and it worked.


Once it started to download firmware just hold power button for few seconds and new small window will popup with 2 options (shut down, or reboot). Just leave this window open and let it download the software up to 100%. As soon it hit 100% box will ask for factory reset and then it will install new firmware automatically and you will be good to go after restart.
So basically just hold and release power button until shut down and reboot window pops up while firmware is being download.


Thank you very much for the great device. I just love it and finally top notch remote control.
