It makes no difference to Me what Service One was/is in...! If You Served or are Serving, You are a Vet...!

i consider veterans day as a day of celebration and thanks for the contributions of all veterans in service to their country, and is also the mark of the end of ww i.
Memorial day is when we honor those who gave their lives for our country. It should be somber.
well up here we call it remembrance day not celebration dayI consider Veterans Day as a day of celebration and thanks for the contributions of all veterans in service to their country, and is also the mark of the end of WW I.
Memorial Day is when we honor those who gave their lives for our country. It should be somber.
But that's Canada. And thank you for pointing out the difference. On Veterans Day we have parades in the USA. You usually don't have parades if it isn't a 'happy' day. We save our remembrance for Memorial Day
we have parades but we don't celebrate or say happy remembrance day
we don't celebrate those who have served our country in warWe can agree that Canada isn't the USA. Do you have a day that celebrates military veterans and thank them for their service? (Honest question, and not intended as an argument)
