Vixo - 2 DV1 - 2

After great satisfaction with the TV Online I upgraded to a Vixo 2 and I'm wondering why it has 2 DV inputs on the back. What are they used for and can I plug in my Blue Ray/DVD player into it to free up a port? I plug everything into my HDMI Stereo Receiver which I use to select devices. I rarely use my BR/DVD and thinking this would be great if I could use this port instead and not have to plug and unplug the HDMI cable in and out all the time.

yes that will work as a switch for other hdmi devices

yup can run a few things

doesn't work so good unless it's another avov device being plugged into the DV ports.
But maybe things changed since I last tried it.
