stuck with one provider

i bought a mag254 and signed up with a server that i wont even mention the name but i think you all know who it is.and now im stuck with him because he has my mac address is there anything i can do so i can sign up with a different server...im just a newbie at this so your help would be appreciated

You can add another server to your mag 254, just go to the inner portal, you are stuck with him so stop paying!!

Ask them to release you MAC addy. You can subscribe to to other providers with your MAC, just not the one that has your MAC addy.

so if i install the latest file on my mag 254 would i be able to use any of the other 8 portals without any problem?

Dose NFPS Keep your Mac address if you quit using their IP server ?

no its free now but they will when its time to pay i think but you can use all 8 if you want

even if you have a CLOSED provider,and they have locked your box ,you can get his PORTAL by selecting the PORTAL
AND REMOVE THE EITHERNET CABLE ,this will give you a page loading error
BUT WILL TELL YOU PROVIDERS URL ...
then you can open your box by various means ,and put in your provider as one portal ..
