Real PVR with DOL

please add real PVR with the DOL app.

How about just simple. Record on / Record off.
Timer would be great.
I seriously miss the beautiful PVR functions of my T-5s.

As much as I approve and would like to see a real PVR like everyone else, it does open the team up to legal ramifications, aka downloading vs streaming.

Plus I believe it is up to the individual IPTV services providers to allow Timeshift/Catchup and downloading of streams.

Perhaps there will be a work around in the future.

Real PVR on the box, just like on T-5 is what is really needed here.

What ever happened to the concept that PVR was a function of the box, not the provider?
What am I missing here?

Hell, the box even has USB3.0. That should be way fast enough for PVR. My T-5 does great job with just USB2.

do you guys watch any of the Ytube kodi tutural videos that guys post ? In everyone one of those videos, they do not show any working channels except maybe for a couple short seconds.
There are reasons for that and same with recording iptv channels.
There are iptv receivers that recently are being blackballed (legally or otherwise), because of some of the content and or programs that they come loaded with.

You guys may be asking more then what dreamlink wants to risk.

I have nothing to do with anything Dreamlink does.
That being said, Ill ask about it.

Heres what I was just told about PVR on T1.

"We have no plan to make Pvr feature functional on T1
But from new model we will add PVR features such as instant recording, reserved recording from epg and time shift."
