Sorry to post this here but I don have privileges to ask it in the announcement thread... Mods feel free to move or delete if need be.


Here is the question: If I purchased from a reseller, and many people do, why would the reseller give me the info needed. Wouldn't that knowledge make everyone’s info that the reseller sold to vulnerable?

I do understand the need to be secure on the servers end. Possible solution would be to require username and password that comes with each code. Thanks

April 5: Search for Rockets or NFPS donations

Hi.

As a security measure starting on April 5th the "Search Donation" form will require the E-Mail address or the Order Number and the Donation number to be able to consult a Donation number:

Without this information you wont be able to check your donation status, link a MAC address, change the current MAC or make IPTV reset. If you bought from a Reseller please ask him for the information specified as "Donation Client" because that's what you will have to use instead of the E-Mail or the Order number in order to be able to consult your donation number.

If the reseller doesn't give you the info needed, and he should, then he wouldn't be a person that I would deal with. They should provide you this info but before you purchase anything, ask them about this info before you purchase from him or her.

Resellers make them self vulnerable by being a reseller if in the US. But iptv is not like iks.

like it says order number what will they find from that Order Number and the Donation there not going to see who its from or get into the seller panel all they get is to check there own code big deal not seller panel and like we say dont buy off a reseller unless it family or friend

I suspect the "Donation Client" information is unique and does not divulge any sensitive information, and it is coupled with the donation number to obtain donation information. The Donation Client information takes the place of an e-mail address or order number. It would not make a reseller's other client's vulnerable.

and it HAS happened in the past, way too many times ...those who know what happened at satfix not too long ago? well now with iptv there is NOT only charlie to worry about so i tread very carefully giving out info...and i trash whatever i dont need after the purchase - with nfps taking all these paranoid measures, any wonder? its bordering on the ridiculous, imho
