PVR.Stalker KODI 16: DeviceID mismatch. Made all updates yesterday & was workin Great

I know papiao is down right now but do I just need to do a reset and/or change MAC address when it comes back up?

It might just connect once papiao is live again without the reset/change as I was up and running great with the new portal (I had the correct server address — http://portal1.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/........) and new EPG Updater 1.0.16 and its proper settings.

The new updater (1.0.16) creates device info based on hashes of your MAC, so that's the reason why you are currently getting device_id mismatches. You should be good to go when the donation checkers come back to life and can do an IPTV Reset.
