i have a [h=1]Mini M8S II 4K Smart TV Box Amlogic S905X Quad Core Processor[/h] - 2GB+16G, it works and youtube works so i am connected to the internet
i have tried several remote apps on my phone (samsung S6edge+), but none of these find my box
remote option on the box is turned on
setup is broadband modem -> switch -> android box (all wired) and on the same switch my wifi access point is connected, on this wifi my phone is connected
i also tried connecting the box on the wifi but that did not help
apps i tried:
android tv remote from google
remote android tv
smart iremote
RemoteIME
the guides for using these remote apps are all very simple, just install, connect to wifi and it finds your android tv box... but not mine
am i missing something?
