You'll only see updates in the announcements for severe problems. Usually you will see see a lot of posts that say they have issues well before any announcement is made. There was a post earlier about issues with the donation checker, but I believe that was only for IPTV66.
Whenever I hit a dead end with anything, I do a factory default, it clears out everything, resets the box back to factory setting as though it were new, right out of the box. Try that and you might find things load, work and connect, if not, you've lost nothing but the time to do it.
P.S. You could reboot your modem, wait until its online and then reboot your router, wait until its online and then power up your box, it sometimes needs a good boot.
