need mag 254 help

I got my mag yesterday I followed the setup sticky until I got to the portal name part and there was no place for server name only the url I found the update and fixed that and finished the setup my problem is when I click on videoclub or tv iget a missing file message any help would be great

I had the same problem with the "file missing". Would certainly like to know what the fix is.

Just look on top of the page and look for meg 254 setup guide and follow instruction ,your url supposed to be http://1.iptvprivateserver.tv

ha ha good eye flash I do have http://1.iptvprivateserver.tv for my url I don't know why I typed rocketserver in my last post getting old I guess lol

I have tried that I think factory reset and start over I had a panset that did this every time I put a new file in it I had to load the file pull my hair out for hours do a factory reset load the same file again and it would work no problem seems like the same thing happening here

remember to reboot after any entry are changes , you can all so try server 2

I used the guide that bio posted to set up the mag 254 but I get a missing file message I have tried reboot no change I did the setup from putting the batteries in the remote through all the steps is there anything else that needs to be done? The guide doesn't say that you have to update the software is there something else that might have been left out

You may need to do an update on your box.

Revoltas, in settings check device info..see what firmware version you are running...the latest is 218 r11...if you don't have this, go to inner portal and update, thks....

I did the update and I have the r11 update and still not working

i tried to do the reset so i could start over now i just have the black screen lol this is a great hobby always something to learn

after you you fac reset, you have to boot up to the BIOS menu by holding down the menu button or very rapidly tapping it when you boot up..this will get you to the BIOS menu and you can set up your box fresh...good luck

look all you needed to do is in inner portal setup do wifi or Ethernet then go to update let it do its thing go to setup server add portal info and your done reboot

I setup the internet I have internet I did the up date I have the latest version I have the correct server info portal 1 1.iptvprivateserver.tv portal1 name rocket I have rebooted and I still get file missing when I clik on videoclub or tv seems I have tried every thing suggested so far any other ideas

try this c/p
Go to settings network set to manual and write 8.8.8.8 on DNS nothing else
never tried it but it may work

asft is the man I did what you said and everything is working got tv and movieclub I would like to thank everyone for the help this site rocks
