MAG254 Tweaks??? Improve channel changing / loading speed????

Hello folks,

I'm a newbie and have been reading a lot trying to figure out this new box.
I haven't found any info on mag254 tweaks.

What I am wondering is are there any extra settings one can play with to improve the speed of channel switching and channel loading time.
I'm using IKS66 and it's been inconsistent. One day is fast another is slow.
Any tips?

I've wondered about that too. However I want to add some heatsinks to the unit's CPU to see if that would assist in cooling. Cooler parts = faster electronics.

It is not an issue with the Mag it is there server, I use IPTV66 and it is slow, I use another service I will not mention and it is as fast as anything flicking through and guide loading

was pretty fast flipping through chanels and epg was fast loading too...right up until the new security measures and (supposed system..upgrades?) It might be a little faster than it was 2 weeks ago but its still super slow compared how it was..and epg will usually load what channels i was flipping thru 30 seconds after i flipped thru them..... the complete opposite of what we have heard would happen all year when freeloaders were kicked off finally

Yup my guide is super slow.trying to catch up as I change guide.when I change channels on guide screen blacks out for a second.anyone else get this?
