Mag254 blue screen frozen

Hi all

I have recently purchased a mag254 box. When I load up the blue screen the box freezes and doesn't allow me to scroll.

the remote itself works fine if I let the box load up.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

P.s Loading up the blue screen is also unusually difficult, it takes me about 10 attempts.

I'm unaware of what version the software is. I have tried to do this with the device straight out of the box

Most likley you may need to set your resolutuon

Do you suggest changing the res to match the TV through the general settings?
